Friday, 29 July 2011 The Countryside Alliance is pleased to announce that William Burton has been appointed as the new Regional Director for the Eastern Region.William has a great wealth of countryside experience having farmed in Essex for a number of years. Regional Chairman Tim Vestey comments: “I am delighted to welcome William as our new Eastern Regional Director. From a farming background, he has widespread knowledge of most field sports and an astute appreciation of the many issues confronting rural Britain today.”William will officially take up the position on Monday 19th September.
