Should you chance upon a huntsman galloping across the countryside, with hounds, take a second glance. What at first appears to be fiery flesh and blood may actually be a sculpture by leading rural artist Miranda Michels.

Former Master of the Radnor & West Hereford, Miranda Michels created the work of art having been inspired by the prospect of a repeal and portrays what may once more become a reality - a huntsman working his hounds in the open countryside. The sculpture is a "one-off" piece made from welded and hammered stainless steel and Corten steel, and will be part of an exhibition of garden sculpture in the grounds of Cheriton Cottage, Cheriton, Hampshire, SO24 0PR by kind invitation of Lord and Lady Amherst from 18th June to 26th June (not open on 25th June).

The sculpture is being sold at a price of around £95,000, and Miranda will very generously give 10% of that sum to the Countryside Alliance, to help make her dream of repeal, a reality. The exhibition as a whole will also donate 20% of funds to two charities; Hackney Holidays giving inner-city children a chance to experience the countryside, and the other a project in Kenya to build a school hall.
