The Northamptonshire Young Countryside Alliance (YCA) will be back with a vengeance this autumn to raise money for the Countryside Alliance through its second annual Young Thrusters Ball at Hanger One, Sywell Aerodrome in Northamptonshire on Saturday 18th October 2008. |

 Sunday 22nd July was the annual Inter Hunt twenty20 cricket competition; it is now in its third year. This year the two New Forest packs (New Forest Hounds, New Forest Beagles) combined forces to make one team. We had a new team enter this year, a Coursing Team.
The Coursing team was put together by, Sally Merrison and Captained by Tim Bonner, on the grounds that the Southern Shires Bloodhounds team were, as quoted by Sally “getting too cocky” and “too big for their cricket boots” having won it for the last two years. After the over night rain on Saturday the competition was in doubt, the start was delayed by ½ an hour, but in the end the weather could have not have turned out better.
