The Light Dragoons are North East England's home grown Army Cavalry Regiment. The Regiment is headquartered in Newcastle's Fenham Barracks but stationed out of area. The Regiment has been deployed on hostile operations since 1992 in regions such as Bosnia, Iraq and more recently Afghanistan. The Light Dragoons Charitable Trust cordially invite you to attend a presentation on the Regiment's most recent tour of Afghanistan by their current Commanding Officer, Lieutenant Colonel Angus Watson MBE, who will be accompanied by some of the soldiers who served under his command on the front line facing the Taleban. Together they will reveal the reality of life as a soldier serving on operations in Afghanistan. |

Consultants Flying Fox, who are carrying out the research, are looking for responses from shoots, game dealers, retailers, pubs and restaurants who buy and sell game.
There is no more powerful message for shooting than the marketing of natural, wild and healthy food so we should all support this project. To take part in the research contact James Cookson at Flying Fox on 01670 772 341 or at
