ImageCountryside Alliance supporter, 11 year old Nelson Bacon and his ferret, Gordon, have just completed a 10-mile sponsored walk to raise funds for their favourite cause.

Nelson, from Shipton under Wychwood in Oxfordshire, hunts with the Heythrop and was keen to raise funds for something he believes passionately in. He and Gordon raised £100 for the Alliance.

The hunting community is facing its biggest challenge yet and in order for hunting to survive, it must become more available and attractive, in particular to young people.
