Image The Countryside Alliance Awards are at first run at local level across 12 geographical regions. Each has its own judging panel and declares a winner in each of five categories (the Rural Hero and The Grassroots Awards are run at British level only.)

 

Localised judging is broken down as follows:

The timeline of events for the 2010 Awards is as follows:

Nominations are open on this site until late October

November - December – Regional Judging visits take place

Receptions will be held at the Senedd in Cardiff and at Holyrood in Edinburgh to honour all Welsh and Scottish finalists and annouce the national champions. These receptions will take place in late 2010/ early 2011. Regional winners in England will be announced in early 2011.

On 30th March all winners will come to the Houses of Parliament to celebrate their achievements and hear who has won the overall titles.
