The South of England finalists have been announced in the Countryside Alliance Awards, with 12 top local businesses vying for one of four regional titles and the chance of UK-wide acclaim. The 2009 Southern finalists are: 1. Village Shop / Post Office finalists Cheriton Post Office & Stores, Bishops Sutton, Alresford, Hampshire Enham Alamein Village Shop and Post Office, Enham Alamein, Hampshire Woodgreen Community Shop and Post Office , Woodgreen, Fordingbridge, Hampshire 3. Daily Telegraph Traditional business finalists Calcutt & Sons Ltd , Sutton Scotney, Winchester, Hampshire John Robinson Family Butchers, Stockbridge, Hampshire Gary Smith's Butchers, Wallingford, Oxfordshire 4.
