Barry says: “The Foot and Mouth outbreak made it necessary for Jim and Vanessa Stratton to diversify their farm. They have set up various diversification initiatives, including a bed & breakfast which serves food from the farm. They are now opening a butchery to supply their own beef and pork. This is an amazing example of something positive coming out of a bleak time.”
